Setting Ubuntu locale

  1. Edit /var/lib/locales/supported.d/local
  2. Add locale

    3. zh_TW.UTF-8 UTF-8

    en_US ISO-8859-1

    en_US.UTF-8 UTF-8

    zh_TW BIG5

  3. run locale-gen or dpkg-reconfigure locale
  4. check locale -a

    Fasta and Fastq format

    I compare two genomes ( Nattō and Bacillus cereus). Here is a new format, fastq ref, I learned.

    I use Mosaik to align Natto to B. Cereus. Hope it will work.
